If you know me at all you know that I’m some what particular when it comes to… everything. I know exactly what I’m looking for and when I’m shopping I can immediately tell you if I like something or not. That said, I have been looking for a patched denim jacket for quite awhile. And I finally found one that I LOVE! Often times, when you see styles like a denim jacket they can be overdone, underdone, or completely irrelevant (i.e. a patch that says “YOLO” ew!). I think this jacket has just the right vibes without looking like I just got busy with an iron and some Girl Scout badges. I picked this one up at my local Saks and boy have I worn the heck out of it recently. Unfortunately it’s sold out but this denim jacket it similar and under $60!
With statement pieces, in general, it can be a pose a little bit of a challenge to find the right pieces to pair it with. I normally try to do something a little more subtle when wearing something like a vibrantly patched denim jacket. Underneath the denim jacket, I opted for a simple white tee
that I picked up at Urban Outfitters (in a collaboration they did with Project Social T). This tee also comes in so many different colors and is under $35. As for the bottom half of the look, I wore my favorite cut-off black jean shorts
and some super cute slip-on sneakers made by Joie
. Y’all these sneakers are one sale right now for $76 and the are normally just under $200 ~~ it’s a STEAL. I literally wear these to school everyday and out and about. These sneaks are especially great to pair with your favorite athleisure look because sometimes putting on and tying laces on tennis shoes is just way too involved. Ya feel me?
In regards to the accessories –because you can never have a complete look without these– I threw on some Dior “So Real” Sunnies
which are iconic. These have quite a hefty price tag (worth it because I wear mine all the time~still trying to convince myself) but I found a site that makes some pretty similar replicas so save your pennies and click here
! You can’t really see it in all of the pictures but I also wore my thin Gucci belt
which I am obsessed with. And finally I threw on this necklace that I bought when I was thirteen and I just shortened it a lot and made it into a choker. This necklace is adorable but never fear I have found one for you from ALV JEWELS that is super similar
and comes in gunmetal (my personal favorite)! The girl who makes all the jewelry was kind enough to give my readers 25% OFF everything on her site.
Xx Love from Ralz,
